Wollaton Park Preschool is a friendly, flexible childcare facility that runs during term time, based in the heart of Wollaton in Nottingham for two, three and four year olds.
We offer a fun, safe and enjoyable environment where children of all gender, race, religion and ability can learn at their own pace in a stimulating environment and feel comfortable, secure and totally at ease. Our Preschool does not have a catchment area, so your child will be welcome here wherever you live.
We provide high quality childcare and education, with a strong focus on learning through play, and the Preschool has been rated “good” at its latest OFSTED inspection (January 2024).
We have a team of qualified, experienced staff, organised in a key worker system to develop close, supportive relationships with each and every child and their carers.
Our sessions are split into Acorns, for children under three years old, and Oaks, for children to progress to whenever they are ready after their third birthday, to ensure age-appropriate support and play opportunities for all of the children.
We have an outdoor play area with lots of fun equipment to provide physical activity, and even have a small allotment area to encourage an interest in the natural world. We help to develop good basic social skills to help with the transition into formal learning when your child attends school.
We have a number of affordable session options available, and pride ourselves on our flexibility. We can even suggest options for local wraparound care.
We offer the 15 hours of government funded places for all pre-school children aged three and up, and for eligible children aged two. We offer the 30 hours of government funded places for those who qualify. We also accept employer’s childcare vouchers.
